Sauna ladle for IKI heaters

IKI heaters are special specifically because they carry and heat up a larger amount of stones than most other sauna heater models to be able to produce that extraordinary amount of steam IKI is famous for. This means IKI heaters can also take way more water than your usual sauna heater to make that massive löyly steam. IKI designed IKI Water Ladle specifically to be used with IKI sauna heaters and similar that carry a lot of stones.

The stainless-steel scoop of the IKI sauna ladle holds more than 2 cups of water for that unforgettable löyly experience you only get with IKI.

The stylish IKI Water ladle is hand-made in Finland from stainless steel and alder and comes in two classic colors; light wood and black. There are also two handle length options for the IKI water ladle, a shorter 25.6” one for smaller saunas and a longer 34.6” one for larger saunas.

How to Use

Heat up your sauna

Heat up your sauna to about 175°F, or to your desired temperature. This should take about an hour, depending on the starting temperature and the size of your sauna and heater, as well as the installation, ventilation, and other factors.

Take a bucket of water with you

Take a bucket of water with you to the sauna. Pouring water on the heater will produce löyly—the steam and additional heat generated by the thoroughly heated stones. Use a large ladle for maximum effect.

Choose Your Heat Level

Sit on the top bench for more heat or on a lower bench for a milder experience. With IKI heaters, your feet do NOT need to be above the heater to stay warm.

Control Your Löyly

With IKI heaters, pouring water continuously on top of your heater produces hotter löyly, while throwing water onto the stones along the sides creates gentler, more humid heat.

Sauna, Cool Down & Repeat

Stay in as long as feels comfortable, then take a break to cool down and hydrate. Repeat as many times as you like.
