How to Use
1

Heat up your sauna

Heat up your sauna to about 175°F, or to your desired temperature. This should take about an hour, depending on the starting temperature and the size of your sauna and heater, as well as the installation, ventilation, and other factors.

Take a bucket of water with you

Take a bucket of water with you to the sauna. Pouring water on the heater will produce löyly—the steam and additional heat generated by the thoroughly heated stones. Use a large ladle for maximum effect.

Choose Your Heat Level

Sit on the top bench for more heat or on a lower bench for a milder experience. With IKI heaters, your feet do NOT need to be above the heater to stay warm.

Control Your Löyly

With IKI heaters, pouring water continuously on top of your heater produces hotter löyly, while throwing water onto the stones along the sides creates gentler, more humid heat.

Sauna, Cool Down & Repeat

Stay in as long as feels comfortable, then take a break to cool down and hydrate. Repeat as many times as you like.
